Jean Kenyon

Fostoria -- Jean E Kenyon, 77, a resident of St. Catherine's Care Center F ostoria, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at the nursing home.

She was born June 29, 1924, in Toledo to Leroy and Mary (Crone) Shultz. S he married Herbert Gomersall, and he died in 1951. She later married Ral ph Kenyon, and he died Dec. 28, 1989.

Surviving are three daughters, Joy Taylor and Judith Schneider, both of Fr emont; and Laura Contos, Toledo; two sons, James H of Findlay; and Kev in R of Westland MI.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four sis ters, Doris Scherger and Maryann Whitman, both of Fostoria; Winifred Fulle r, New Riegel; and Lorna Clem, Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, James R, John J, Albert D, Wilb er L, Leroy, and George Shultz; and three sisters, Helen and Glennis May S hultz, and Marie Baumbarger.

Mrs. Kenyon was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hoening Funeral Home, F ostoria, the Rev. Christopher Gambos officiating. Burial will be in Founta in Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral hom e.

Memorials may be made to Activities Fund of St. Catherine's Care Center.
