PESYN and his wife (Marie de Lannoy, not the same person as Marie le Mahieu) built in Leiden a place of worship for the Protestant refugees; above the entrance was this inscription in Dutch(Translation) "Here you see of the ruins of a dilapidated hut by a childless couple a fine structure built for poor strangers who were cast out from their fatherland and peaceably here lived".
