Jean E. (Frantz, Minnich) Kuhnert, went home to Jesus on March 20, 2021, at the age of 93. Jean was born to Ralph F. Frantz and Minnie (Lauchnor) Frantz on October 18, 1927. Jean was married to Howard W. Minnich, deceased 9-23-1959 and Samuel J. Kuhnert, deceased 10-13-1978. Throughout her entire life she held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ so others could enjoy praising God through music. She was last employed by John Ankerberg as an accounting manager for the John Ankerberg Show in Chattanooga, TN. Jean traveled extensively to many countries around the world. One of her favorite experiences was climbing through a very narrow passageway to the top of a pyramid in Egypt. Please remember Jean when you give to your local food bank or your favorite charity. She is survived by two sons, Dennis H. Minnich of Bangor, PA, wife Darlene, Ronald B. Minnich of Palmerton, PA, wife Sharon; stepchildren, Rhea (Kuhnert) Christopher and Carson Kuhnert; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Jean had two predeceased brothers, David F. Frantz, wife Joyce and Joseph F. Frantz, wife Dianne.
Graveside services will be held for family and friends at a future date. Jean will be interred at the Slatedale Cemetery, Slatedale, PA, alongside her first husband, Howard W. Minnich. Arrangements entrusted to Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home Inc., Slatedale.
