Jean-Baptiste BERGERON dit d'AMBOISE, born around 1722 (according to S. A. White) son of Michel & unknown mother.
Note i at end of family: We believe that Jean-Baptiste BERGERON, husband of Marguerite BERNARD, must belong to the family of Michel BERGERON. Being born around 1722, Jean-Baptiste must be the son either of Michel or of Barthélemy BERGERON. For unquestionable reasons we must conclude that Barthélemy was the father of another Jean-Baptiste, who married Catherine CAISSIE. It is necessary then to suppose that the husband of Marguerite BERNARD was the son of Michel BERGERON.

However, separate entry as head of family in BERGERON no. 7 lists Jean-Baptiste's parents as Michel (2) BERGERON & Marie DUGAS [sic].
