He married (Grand Pré Register) on 14 Oct 1721 to Marguerite THÉRIOT, daughter of Jean & Jeanne LANDRY. He was on the 1763 list of passengers from Southampton to France; on list of 1763 arrivals at St-Malo, age 63 years, a widower. On 1772 census at St-Malo, age 72 years, invalid. He died/was buried (St-Servan, France Register) on 17/18 Sep 1774 at age 76 years.

!EDUCATION: He could sign his name, as on his daughter Françoise's baptismal record at Grand Pré in 1733 (SGA-2, 129).

Transported into France with his surviving children, he was at St. Malo in 1767.
