SANDUSKY -- Former Mansfield resident Jason D. Strong, 64, of OH Veterans Home died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, in Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born on Oct. 11, 1939, in Mansfield and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are a son, Bradley Strong of Mansfield; a daughter, Jennifer Quicksall of Lucas; two sisters, Mary Ann Grinold of Michigan and Marjorie Musgrove of Mansfield; a brother, Allen Strong of Columbus; four grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto A. and Erwina Leathers Strong.

Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. in Giffin Chapel of OH Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Chaplain Paul Birmingham will officiate. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
