  2.   It is not certain that the Jane Lancaster baptized in 1768 is the Jane Lancaster who married Isaac Hinde. Other Jane Lancasters were baptized in Whitehaven in the 2nd half of the 1700s, but only this Jane is the right age to have been married in 1786, had a child in 1789, and a child in 1809. However, neither Jane nor her children are mentioned in the 1810 will of John Lancaster, which mentions his niece (Elizabeth Johnston) and the children of John's daughter Mary.
