    James Stallings was born May 21, 1814 in Pike Conty, Miss.; he married Sarah Pearson on Sept. 6, 1832; he died June 23, 1896. He joined Centreville Baptist Church in October 1892 and was a true and consistent member until death. He leaves four children, 35 grandchildren, and 85 great grandchildren to mourn their loss. His funeral services were conducted by rev. W. J. Fortenberry.
