  • I. 216. Andrew Semple, second son of Robert, third Lord Semple, obtained the lands of Bruntschells from his father in 1560. He married Margaret Stirling, daughter of the Larid of Craigbarnet, by whom he had two sons.

  • II. 218. James Semple, second son of Andrew Semple of Bruntschells, obtained in 1608, the lands of Millbank from his grandfather Robert, third Lord Semple. He married Sibilla Glen, a daughter of the House of Barr, by whom he had.
  • III. 219. Robert Semple of Millbank, who sold the lands of Millbank, and died in the year 1668. He left issue by Elizabeth, his wife, daughter of John Boyle, of Kelburn, and Marion, his wife, daughter of Hugh Crawfurd of Kilbirny, a son and heir:

  • IV. 220. Andrew Semple, only son and heir of Robert Semple of Millbank, married Jean Algoe, daughter of William Algoe of Easter-Walkinshaw, and had issue:
