In the 1870 US census, the James Seaver family resided in Hinesburgh, Chittenden County, VT. The household included James Seaver (age 52, cooper, born NH), Jane Seaver (age 45, keeping house, born VT), Ida Seaver (age 15, born VT) and Geo Seaver (age 10, born VT) [1870 US census for Vermont, LDS Microfilm 0,553,116, page 591, dwelling #238, family #229]. In the 1880 US census, a James B. Seaber (male, white, age 61, cooper, born VT, father born VT, mother born VT), resided in Hinesburg, Chittenden County, Vermont with "other" Lucy J. Seaber (female, white, age 54, born VT, parents born VT) and "other" George E. Seaber (male, age 20, born VT, parents born VT). This appears to be the James B. Seaver family (1880 US Census for Vermont, on LDS website www.familysearch.org, full census record is on Microfilm 1,255,343, page 234D).
