RICHARDSON, James, s. James and Hannah, [born] Jan. 13, 1755.

  2.   Source:Vinton, John Adams. Richardson Memorial, p. 616-7, says this James Richardson is the one who married Lucy Wyman of Woburn. Now, Vinton appears to have mixed parts of two different James Richardsons into the description of the father of this James, including a story of the father being born in Woburn, going to Leominster with parents, marrying in Woburn, returning to Leominster, then dying in Woburn, when in actuality, signs are that once in Leominster about 1735 with his parents, the father never left Leominster, and the Woburn activity belongs to another man. Therefore, when he thinks the son married a woman of Woburn, it seems suspicious. Alternately, it seems more likely that Person:James Richardson (63) married Lucy Wyman. This website suggests such is indicated by a Rev. pension application by the widow in Medford. Further, looking in Medford VRs, one finds a death record for James in 1818 age 65, matching the 1753 birthdate of this alternative, as well as the 1850 death of Lucy age 87, matching her 1763 birthdate.
