James' father is living with him. He lives beside Sarah Morley. James died in 1840 leaving no will. At the September term of court, his widow, Nancy, appeared and relinquished her right to be administrator of his estate. The Court appointed Calvin J. Moore as administrator. Moore transferred administration of the estate to the Chancery Court at Jonesboro. The estate was settled by the State Supreme Court, Knoxville, in 1848.
