Frank "Jim" Magrum, 70, of Pearl St., Bowling Green, died Monday morning, March 14, 2005, at his home. He was born April 20, 1934, in Oak Harbor, OH, to Gregory and Laura (Pfeiffer) Magrum. He married Beverly Wilka on August 14, 1954, and she survives of Bowling Green. Also surviving is a son, James of Portage; daughters, Brenda Bragg of Maumee, Deborah Bridenbaugh of Bowling Green; sisters, Teresa Duling of Northwood, Wilma Wilkins of Tiffin, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Cleotus, Glen and Charles Magrum, and sister, Catherine Parker. Mr. Magrum worked for 20+ years and retired as the owner/operator of Heel & Sole Shoe Repair, B.G. Previously he was a Journeyman of Mold Design and was in charge of purchasing and a draftsman at B&F Medical Co. He was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, B.G., Genoa Masonic Lodge, active in Mainstreet BG, graduated from Oak Harbor H.S. in 1952 and attended The University of Toledo for two years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, B.G. Rev. Edward Schleter will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Dunn Funeral Home, B.G., where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions can be given to Bridge Home Health & Hospice or the Wood CO Unit of the American Cancer Society.
