WELL KNOWN MAN DIED MONDAY
James Robert Lodge Sr., sixty two years old, and well known in Ettrick, died last night at his residence at 7:30 o'clock, after an illness of sixteen days. Mr. Lodge suffered a stroke of Paralysis a short time ago from which he never entirely recovered.
Mr. lodge was connected with one of the local trunk factories and was well known in petersburg. In addition to his wife he is survived by the following children: Mr. E.M. Moore of Petersburg, William L. Lodge of Washington D.C. H.L Lodge of Richmond, Mrs. Molly Eanes of Ettrick and wo sisters Mrs. Kate Hargraves and Mrs. Molly Maddra of Ettrick.
Mr. Lodge was a member of Several secret orders and was prominately connected with the Ettrick Methodist Church, from which place the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 O'Clock. Rev. JT Avery will conduct the services. Interment will be in Blandford.
