'James Keith, born Dec. 5, 1669' ... This account of the dates of births of these children is believe to be wholly incorrect, without authority, and was altogether conjectural" based on gravestones that implied different birth dates, including Joseph's, which explicitly gives his birth as 14 Feb 1675. In the will, James is listed as the son before Joseph, so his birth is estimated 1673.
