He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Lee Jackson; mother, Lilly Mae Jackson; brothers, Johnny Jackson, Paul David Jackson, and Billy Silcox; sister, Willa Mae Jackson. He was retired from the U.S. Army after serving 23 years including two tours in Vietnam. He was a Master Mason with the Hudson River Lodge, #607 in New York and a member of the American Legion (Galloway Post) in Newburgh, NY. He is survived by: his wife, Diana Jackson of Wartburg; children, Donna Wallace of Columbia, Maryland, Elisha Biggs of Maryville, TN, Abra Youmans of Modena, NY, Charles Jackson of New Windsor, NY; step-children, Heather Myers of Lancing, TN, Angela Ralston of Ft. Bragg, NC, Micheal Lynch of Modena, NY; grandchildren, Andrew, Todd, Matthew, Dane, Corey, John David, Jacob, Matthew, Owen, Jacob, Emily, Marinda, Jenna; sisters, Bobbie Jean Blankenship, Cincinnati, Ohio, Sue Kivett of Mossy Grove, Betty Armes of Wartburg, Leona Hale of Oliver Springs, Mary Armes of Joyner, TN; brothers, Kenneth Jackson of Coalfield, Robert Jackson of Wartburg, Troy Jackson of Coalfield; step-mother, Edith Jackson of Coalfield. The family will receive friends Thursday Afternoon, May 27, 2004 from 1-3 pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg.
