1. Elizabeth and both children died in 1890. 2. Moved to Buffalo by 1893, resided at 98 Bird Ave. His favorite church was Riverside Methodist, at Bird and West avenues. 3. He was a well-known minister on both sides of the border for quite some time. Even so, he had to supplement his income in Buffalo by manufacturing lace curtain frames. (Mary Cassar comments that she remembers rural doctors in Paris, Ontario, having to farm and several Anglican clergymen who taught school and were music teachers.) 4. His son, Philander, lived at 61 Bird Ave. He was now a carpenter and no family is recorded as living with him.
