Will of "James Dean of Easton", dated 2 Mar 1790, proved 30 Mar 1803, names wife Anna [mentions contract before marriage, transporting furniture from the place where they now reside to her dwelling house in Taunton]; daughter Hannah Howard; discharges Negro woman named Cate igving her apparel and furniture she now uses and a number of sheep to value of $5; son Edward Dean. Son Edward to be executor.
25 Mar 1803: Assent by subscribers that they have no objection to will. Signed by Anna Dean, Nehemiah Howard, and Hannah Howard.
30 Mar 1803: Bond of Edward Dean Physician of Easton as executor of James Dean late of Easton deceased.
