"JAMES CONNELL, SR- Summit Station, OH Dec 18- James Connell, Sr. died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Palmer Henderson, south of this place, on Monday evening at 6 o'clock, after a short illness, aged 79 years. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o;clock, in the United Presbyterian church at Reynoldsburg, Rev Mr Straine officiating and the interment was made in the Reynoldsburg cemetery. The deceased Leaves two daughters and five sons, besides a number of granchildren, distant relatives and friends to mourn his death. Mr. Connell was one of the pioneer residents of the county, and at one time was a lage real estae owner in Etna township, and a leading memeber of the U P church."
