Buchannon - Perkins
The marriage of Orla Myrtle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Perkins, of Winnipeg, to Mr. James Colbourne Buchannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Buchannon, of Dauphin, Man., took place May 2, at Fort Rouge United Church. The Rev. W. M. Grant officiated.
The attendants were Miss Barbara Dixon and Mr. Walter Champion. Mr. and Mrs. Buchannon will reside at 734 Garwood avenue, Winnipeg.

ORLA MYRTLE BUCHANNON
On September 12, 1986 at Central Park Lodge, Orla Myrtle Buchannon, went to be with her Lord and Saviour.
She is survived by one daughter [living] and husband [living] Heuvelman of Winnipeg; one son [living] and wife [living] of Winnipeg and daughter-in-law [living]; eight grandchildren, [names of living individuals have been removed;] also five sisters, [names of living individuals have been removed;] two brothers, [names of living individuals have been removed.] She was predeceased by her husband Bernie in 1964 and one son Brian in 1983.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, September 16 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with devotional at 7:15 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Followed by a memorial service on Wednesday 2:00 p.m. at the East Kildonan Baptist Church, 700 Watt St. with Pastor David Lee officiating. Interment in Pineview Columbarium at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Manitoba Division of Canadian Cancer Society available at the church.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who has known mother and shared her love.

On Saturday, December 5th, 1964, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Mr. James Colbourne (Bernie) Buchannon, aged 57 years, beloved husband of Orla Buchannon of 348 Mebourne Avenue; East Kildonan. Funeral service will be held at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Clark Leatherdale Funeral Home, 232 Kennedy Street with Rev. K. H. Moffatt officiating. Cremation to follow with Memorialization in Pineview Columbarium. Should friends desire contributions may be made to the Manitoba Heart Foundation.
