    Jacques de Haveskercke, Baron of Wingene, Lord of Zedelgem, a Son of Louis and Livine of Haveskerche, died in 1693, buried in the village of Jabbeke; he had married a lady from Brussels, Constance Marie-Philippine Simple (ie. Semple), wearing gold double chevron pald' silver and reds, between three hunting horns tied in red, daughter of Franois (ie. Francis Semple), gentleman of his majesty, and Lady Charlotte Du Quesnoy, and with whom he had issue:

    1.     The family of the Haveskercke is a Belgian - French noble family whose family tree goes back to the 12th century. They are the Seigneurs Haveskercke (Haverskercke), a village near Lille in France, and Baron of Wingene and Lord of Zwevezele. This family continued by statute Haveskercke, Veghel and Zwevezele rule until the French Revolution where they fled to Germany.
