Obit - published in the Review-Times, Fostoria, OH, 10 Apr 1957, page2; Jacob Luman, 96, 810 N. Union Street, died today, 10 Apr 1957, 1:15a.m. in the Susset Rest Home at Findlay. He had been ill three monthsof a hip fracture suffered in a fall in his home. He was born inFostoria, 7 Dec 1860 to Benjamin and Elizabeth (Moiser) Luman and wasmarried to Mary Helfer in Tiffin, 16 September 1887, His wife died in1941.Mr. Luman was a retired farmer and grain thresher, and had livedin and or near Fopstoria all his life. Surviving are two sons, SamuelLuman and Clarence Luman, both of near Fostoria; five grandchildrenand 17 great-gramdchildren. He was a member of the Bethel EvangelicalUnited Brethren Church. Services will be held in the Harrold FuneralHome Firday, 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roy Sutherland officiating. Burialwill be in Fountain Cemetery. the body is at the Funeral Home.
