Jacob Adam Lehman was one of the first United Brethern itinerant preachers in the miami conference.

Biography for Christian Lehman, Jacob's son, said that Jacob and Hannah went to Perry Co. in 1806 with 11 of their 12 children. They bought 80 acres of land in Jackson Township and lived near Rushville. Jacob died on the farm at age 90.
