[Note: Further information given about his parents is impossible (p. 30: Jeremiah's parents m. 1724, Jeremiah bp. 1725, but his son b. 1734??? Likewise Abiah Brown was probably only born in 1721. This unfortunately calls into question the whole identification of Jacob's parents and a birth in 1734 makes him more likely Jeremiah's brother than his son.]
