  2.   Family Notes.

    Bill Putman states that Jacob and Mary moved in 1748 west to York Co., P A. This area was part of Lancster Co., until 1749 when York Co was formed. Mary died at age sixty-eight in York Co., Jacob lived longer; family tradition states he lived to be one hundred years old. Quaker Records show that Jacob Beales was a prominent member of Huntington Meeting even while under the Concord Meeting. His grave has an undated stone in the old grave yard near York Springs, PA.
