    Will of "Jaazaniah Houghton of Bolton ... Yeoman, being advance in age", dated 2 Oct 1819, heirs cited 4 Mar 1828, proved 4 Apr 1828, names wife Ruth Houghton [mentions household goods she brought with her when married]; son Samuel Houghton; daughter Becca Holman; granddaughter Becca Wheeler; son Martin Houghton. Son Martin to be executor. Assent to proving of will added at bottom of will bu Ruth Houghton and Becca Holman.
    28 Feb 1831: Receipt given to Martin Houghton by Asa Holman attorney for Samuel Houghton son of Jaazaniah Houghton deceased. Also of Asa Holman and wife Becca Holman for her legacy from her father.
