    J. R. Dunn, born circa 1821. He lived for a number of years in Clinton County, Indiana, then moved west for a short time to Lewis County, Missouri, before traveling west to California during the gold rush. He was listed on the 1850 census report of Calaveras County, California, together with his brothers James Dunn and Robert C. Dunn [and brother-in-law Alfred McKinsey]. He died before the year 1855.
