Admitted townsman of Eastham, Mar 17, 1701-2 and served as surveyor in 1704, 1705-6, 1724-5 adn 1734-5; a constable in 1709-10; a selectman in 1719-20, 1725-6 and a juryman in 1731-2. William Paine was appointed administrator Jan 1740 for the estates of his sons Israel and Daniel who were mariners, indicating that they were probably lost or died at sea. No probate in Barnstable. Date of death uncertain; however, he and Daniel Doane witnessed a deed on June 5, 1740. Israel was admitted townsman of Eastham on March 17, 1701-2 and served as a surveyor in 1704, 1705-6, 1724-5 and 1734-5; a constable in 1709-10; a selectman in 1719-29, 1725-26; and a juryman in 1731-2. The probate records show nothing of his estate and the time of his death does not appear. References
