Will of "Isacke Wells" dated 25 Jun 1673, exhibited 5 Mar 1673[/74], proved 7 Mar 1673[/74], whole estate given to "Margerett my loveing wife", she to be executor.
Source:Otis, Amos. Genealogical Notes of Barnstable Families, p. 151 says that Ralph Chapman m. Lydia Wells, a daughter of Isaac. In a footnote, he says "Mr. Savage says Lydia Wills or Willis. I read the record Wells." Savage's error has caused people to identify a non-existent Isaac Willis of Barnstable.
