This is probably the Isaac who is buried in the Wells Chapel Cemetery in North Carolina. The dates and location are close. Both his cousin, and his uncle preached at the Wells Chapel church, formally known as Bull Tail church. These facts seem to make it almost certain that this is the place of his grave, and that he married Sedonia Bland.

The stone there reads as follows:
