Served as one of the first selectmen in Bradford in 1786 and also later years until 1791

He was a Revolutionary War soldier enlisting in 1777 from Kingston, NH

Isaac Davis, his wife and children were warned out of Hopkinton on May 5 1770, having come recently from Newton: the document named Isaac and his wife Ketura, Betty, Molly, James, Daniel, John, and Susannah Davis.

He was one of hte Bradford men who signed the 30 May 1787 Petition for Incorporation
