1841 is a very early date for any of the Palatine families to be in Wabash County! It is also very interesting that his children were born in Bourbon Township, of Marshall County. Several of the Urbana, Indiana families (Lower, Karns, Danner, Mattern, etc.) had connections with this area, which was only about 32 miles away from Urbana - "as the crow flies"!
