Facts and Events
Ingval Frederick Taug was born in Keyport, Kitsap County, Washington to Paul Taug and Ida Peterson Dahl.
He and his sisters were first generation Americans born to Norwegian American Parents.
After his father Paul came to the United States he choose the surname Taug (Norwegian farm name), where as Ingval Taug's uncles choose Frederick, or Fredrickson (Norwegian patronymic).
Ingval Taug's mother Ida mainly used Dahl (Norwegian Farm name) though on her marriage record her maiden name is Peterson (Norwegian patronymic).
Ingval Taug married twice.
His first wife was Helen Sheridan and from the family stories not with much approval from the family.
I believe it was because she was half Swedish, or a city girl.
After Helen's death he married Eleanor McGill.
