Dear Aunt Rose,

I received your letter a few weeks ago and sure was glad to hear from you. Also glad you had sent me a picture of you and Uncle Alex. I had one you sent me a long time ago. I will send you one of us as soon as I can. I am now going to write down the births of all the children.

I don't know Noel's birth date nor age but thinks he's 25 yrs. I'm not sure.

The baby is fine, and she has a little tooth now. And she is only 3 months now. She didn't have any trouble at all with it. We are sure proud of her. Aunt Rose I know how you feel about mother letting the babies go. But she tried to keep them together but couldn't. Her home in Virginia City was taken away from her by people that they used to owe money to. Now she hasn't got a thing. She is staying with me and Charley because she has no other place to go. She is trying to get a job in the Carson City Laundry or in a restaurant around here.

Aunt Rose I'm awful sorry I told you that mother was married, because it was a big mistake on my part. I had heard it from some people from the Lake, where mother was at the time working. I don't know what gave them the idea she was married. She was staying with some friends of ours up there. The babies that mother let be adopted out have wonderful homes. But I don't blame you for feeling the way you do. The children in the home are fine. We see them all the time. I think they are happy. They sure do think the baby is cute. Well Aunt Rose I guess that is all the news. So I will close for now hoping to hear from you soon.

And Thanks a lot for the nice pictures. I will send you one of us soon. Bye.

Love Ileta

P.S. Tell Uncle Alex hello too.
