Mrs. Idell M. Shaw Hood was born in Alfred, N. Y., May 15, 1857, the daughter of Phineas K. and Melissa Shaw. After months of suffering she entered into rest June 17, 1915.
On February 15, 1874, she was married to Mr. William A. Hood. Since 1884 their home has been in Hornell, N. Y. The husband and a daughter, Mabel E., survive her. Our departed friend impressed one as having high ideals of religion, and of Christian womanhood and all womanly and social relations. A. E. M.
