Humphrey de Bohun VI: (d.August/October 27, 1265). He married Alianor/Eleanor de Braose, daughter of William de Braose of Brecknock, Lord of Abergavenny and his wife Eva Marshal, daughter of William Marshal and Isabel de Clare. In 1257 he helped his father keep the marches/borders and in 1263 he joined his father to fortify the castles on the marches against Llewellyn. He joined the barons against the king and in 1264 had custody of Winchester Castle. He fought at the battle of Evesham un 1265 where he was taken prisoner and predeceased his father by ten years. Eleanor was buried at Llanthony in Gloucestershire. They had a daughter, Agnes/Alianore who married Robert de Ferrers of Chartley, a descendant of Sayer de Quincy, and they had a son, Humphrey.--Adec,FHL 929.273,C769w
