Link to Christian is not yet solid. Willie MacLeod remembers his grandmother mentioning that Jane Williamson had an uncle named Forgan. Barbara Ross married Alexander Forgan. The Parish location is very logical and the naming pattern quite close.

A Hugh Ross died at Kirkcaldy 23 Nov 1848 age 85, reason "worn out". Age is logical, no other proof yet. Same year a HR died in Ceres.
