His will written 8 OCT 1708, recorded in Will Book 10, pp. 1-3. Names wife “Shusanna” (spelled that way twice) and minor daughter Elizabeth. If daughter Elizabeth should die without issue then his estate to go the “the children of my Wife Shusanah Ladner which she had by a former Husband”. I also leaves 20 shillings to William Fox to buy a ring, and Mrs. Ann Fox wife of William Fox 20 shillings to buy a ring. Appoints William Payne “my son-in-law” as executor. Witnessed by William Fox, Joseph Carter and George Chowning.
