Howard Bert Crispen Dec. 9, 1932 -- March 5, 2004 ------ Howard Bert Crispen, 71, of Sixth St died late Friday evening at The Tole do Hospital. He was born in Gibsonburg to Bert and Nora (Saam) Crispen. Howard worked for Price Lumber Company for 40 years as a truck driver, saw mill worker, yard worker and salesperson. He retired in January 1997. Howard was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Fraternal Ord er of Masons. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with h is kids. Surviving Howard are his children John Crispen and Susan Crispen, bo th of Fremont, and Marcia Crispen of Clyde; sisters Naomi Ward, Marvel "Si d" (Bill) Hampsher of Fremont, Wilma "Peg" Scott of Bowling Green and Bren da Hostottle of Bradner; brothers Roy "Whitey" Crispen of Gibsonburg and M arvin "Baldy" (Karen) Crispen of Lindsey; eight grandchildren and six grea t-grandchildren; and special friend Lori Elmer of Genoa. Preceding Howa rd are his parents, brother Harold Crispen and daughter Cheryl Link. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. today at Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home/Cremation Se rvices, Gibsonburg.
