  3.   Note: Wheeler mentions no marriage, but the marriage is clearly recorded in Vermont, and the age of 40-50 for Holland in the 1840 Vermont census suggests it is indeed his. Frances would undoubtedly be the mother of the two boys under 5 in the 1840 census, but the inclusion of a boy 10-15 in the 1840 census suggests she is Holland's second wife, which seems consistent with his marriage when he was nearing 40.
