    Hiram, the second son of Daniel Stinchfield, was born in Vanderburgh, Co., Indiana on December 12, 1824., married to Sarah McCrary in Vanderburgh Co. September 30, 1841.
    Hiram was lost at sea aboard the ship SS Central America off Cape Hatteras on September 10, 1857.
