In Hartsville, N. Y., Oct., 10th, 1878, of pulmonary consumption, Hiram C. Palmiter, son of Silas and Elizabeth Palmiter, in the 47th year of his age. He was a member of the Hartsville Seventh-day Baptist Church, but since he desired to be buried near Alfred, his funeral was attended at the Second Alfred Church, on Sabbath, Oct. 12th. A. H. L.
