    CASSIDY _ Louise Urdine Fay (Nee Crofford). It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Louise Cassidy at the age of 71 years on Sunday, December 28, 2003, at Herb Bassett Nursing Home in Prince Albert, SK. Louise was born on October 26, 1932 to Hildron (Red) and Hilda (nee Blewden) Crofford in Asquith, SK. Louise is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, <living> Cassidy; children, <names of living individuals have been removed>; great-grandchild, <living> Herbers; brothers, <names of living individuals have been removed>; sister-in-law, <living> Crofford; brotherin-law, <living> Cassidy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Hildron and Hilda Crofford; brothers, Robert Crofford, Wayne Crofford and Lorne Crofford; mother and father-in-law, Alice and George Cassidy; brother-in-law, Russell Cassidy. Louise was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed camping, dancing and time spent at the cabin. Louise tirelessly volunteered for numerous organizations and boards. She was a firm believer in the power of a good education. She was loved and respected by numerous friends, staff and students over the years as a social worker and teacher. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Herb Bassett Nursing Home and those who generously supported them during her lengthy illness. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. from the Acadia Drive Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK) with Elaine Thomas officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Terry G. Michayliuk, ACADIA DRIVE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 955-1600.
