Prov. 2-2-4, but more likely an extra Olney in RI than CT. (10/02) - Hezekiah Olney and Phebe Smith died in N. Providence in 1820 and 1832. 1800 Windham CT: Hezekiah - 2m 10- [Hezekiah, ?], 2 16-26 [servants?], 1 45+ [Hezekiah], 1 f u10 [?], 2 f 16-26 [Tryphenia, Rachel or Elizabeth], 1 f 45+ [Orpha]. Eded up in Susquehanna Co, PA. His daughter Rachel settled there between 1810 and 1820. There are no Olneys listed in 1800, 1810 or 1820, but Stocker’s history of northeastern PA lists Hezekiah Olney, along with Orpha Hawkins, Abigail Gere and Rachel Corey, as residents of Brooklyn in 1817. Hezekiah is buried next to his daughter Abigail and her husband Stephen Gere. Hezekiah and Orpha were 4th cousins, descendants of James Ashton, whose daughter m. Thomas Olney and Thomas Angell.
