  3. An article "Capt. Hopestill Foster of Dorchester, Mass., and Some of His Descendants", by William H. Whitmore, NEHGR, Vol. 53, p. 338, says Hepzibah Maynard "m. Samuel Sherman". He then provides an abstract of the 1782 will of her father, Moses Maynard, with no indication she is mentioned. But she is ([1]), i.e., "Daughter Hepzibeth Shermon wife of Sam'll Sherman of Marlbrough".
