The will of Henry Wolcott sen. of Windsor is dated 21 September 1670. The abstract reads:

"I Henry Wolcott sen. of Windsor ... to my wife ... son Henry ... son John ... son Samuel ... son Josiah .. daughters Sarah, Mary & Hannah ... My wife to be Executrix, and my brother-in-law Capt. Benjamin Newbery and my son Henry Wolcott to be Overseers." Inventory was taken 19 and 24 July 1680 by Capt. Benjamin Newbery, John Loomis sen., Thomas Bissell (Windsor); by Nathaniel Boreman & Samuel Steele (Wethersfield); it amounted to ?2743-12-00 at Windsor, ?1234-04-00 at Wethersfield, total ?3977-16-00.

Important merchant. Admittd as a Freeman by the General Court of BOston in 1634. Elected member of the HOuse of Deputies in 1660 and the House of Magistrated in 1662 and successively until his death.
