    6 No 1724: Bond of Sarah Seager Widow and Job Seager Husbandman of Newton as administrators to the Estate of Henry Seager late of Newtown aboves'd decd Intestate.

    3 Oct 1726: "The within written [the citation to appear to consider account of administrators] was read to David Robinson & his wife and they said they had no Business with the Estate". [per] me W'm Trowbridge.
    28 Oct 1726: Account of Job Seger & Sarah Seger admin,rs to the Estate of Henry Seger Sen'r Late of Newton, allowed.
    1 Nov 1726: Warrant to set off widow's thirds and divide remaining real estate, which "cannot be divided to and among all his Children without great Prejudice to or Spoiling the whole", heirs of Henry the second son to Job the eldest son, and possibly to heirs of Elizabeth now deceased if "of no very great damage". List of childrens names ("6 children, 7 shares") Job eldest son, Henry dead left issue, Eliz'a dead issue, Margaret, Thankful, Martha Mercy.
    3 Jul 1727: Job Segar ordered to cite heirs, citation read to widow [Sarah ???], to Margaret Elliot, to John Cheeney (husband to Elizabeth), to W'm Trowbridge and Tho's Greenwood guardian for 4 of Henry's Children, to John [Child?].
    14 Feb 1728/29: set off to Widdow Sarah Segar for Her Dower, to Job Seager ye Dec'd Eldest son [another document indicates he quitclaimed to the heirs of his brother Henry land they purchased in common], documenting the advances during lifetime to Job Seager, to Henry Seager second son, to Elisabeth eldest daughter, to Margaret second daughter, to Thankfull third daughter, and nothing to Mercy youngest daughter.
    30 Jan 1734: Distribution of widow's thirds set off to Job Seager Eldest son, to heirs of of Henry Seager. 17 Feb 1734/35: Job to pay his brother Henry to complete his share; to his sisters Margaret,Thankfull, & Mercy full shares; to Moses son of Elizabeth Cheney 1/5 part of her portion other parts already disposed of.
