CHICKEN THIEVES AT RIETHMILLERS

Sometime last night, thieves went to the chicken coop of Harry Riethmiller of near Starford, Killed and Took 25 Rhode Island Chickens.

About 4 a.m. this morning, Mr. Riethmiller went out to his hen coop and found the door open. Upon investigation, he discovered that the heads of 25 of his prize chickens had been wrung off; discarded in a corner of the house and the bodies carried off.

From the appearences of the hen house, the chicken thieves had wrung off the heads, put the bodies in bags and carried them away. No marks or damaging evidence was left by those responsible for this stealing
