Bio: Monday, 24 June 1957Henry Carroll Kilgore, 73, 409 Haralson Avenue, died at a local hospital at 5:55 p.m., yesterday after a short illness.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Collier-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Ivan Trusler officiating. Burial will be in Forrest cemetery……Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Boykin Kilgore; two sisters, Mrs. Dale Anderson, Gadsden, and Mrs. R.C. Puckett, Madison county; two nephews and a niece.Mr. Kilgore was a native of Comersville, Tenn. and a resident of Gadsden for 50 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and of Masonic Lodge 236. He was retired from Republic Steel Corp. where he had been a supervisor at open hearth for 50 years.
