Facts and Events
Henry Molyneux Paget Howard, 19th Earl of Suffolk, 12th Earl of Berkshire (13 September 1877 – 21 April 1917) was a British peer, styled Viscount Andover until 1898.
Daisy was visiting her sister Mary Curzon (then vicereine) in India when her husband was killed and afterwards never really reentered social life in the States. Howard, an aide-de-camp to Lord Curzon, was notoriously broke; reporting on his engagement to Daisy, the New York Times noted that "his estate . . . in Wiltshire will be restored to the glory of its former days."
